SONY Trinitron Monitors

I've been using computers for years. Began using it with a 12" monocrhome screen which I don't even remember the brand. Had a Viewsonic 21" one in my early office. It was a from thier Professional series but made my eye painful. Too bright and when you set the brightness low the colours were not right. So I have never found another alternate monitor as good as SONY Trinitron range when it comes to monitors.

Soothing to eyes, Eastmen Kodak colours and two horizontal lines are unique to them. It's a sheer joy to stare at them considering the fact that we nearly spend 6-7 hours a day infront of them. Had been using 17" flat one upto now,

Today I got this 21 inch beauty which are originally made for Sun servers. Simply fabulous!

Change of face..

Time to time people do change their choices. When it comes to software that becomes very true for me. I start browsing Netscape Navigator back then and give way to IE whitout ever having a proper choice. Somewhere late 2002 I found out this sheer beauty called OPERA. It is still all I ever wanted in a browser. Fast and very customisable.

At their fan page I've written an appreciation. See, it's a pleasure to see my picture appearing there. Today the opera people have put my picture at their homepage.

Listen to the rhythm of...

Dancing. It was something I never thought that I would be good at. Strange that I ever came to liked it at the very first place when Rasika introduced me to it. Anyway I did and found out it's very relaxing and good workout with lot of fun after a long day. Today there's gonna be my Silver Level Exams. Still my count to the rhythm is horrible. Nonetheless I have come a long way in this. Glad I did.

The country is in chaos...

Sri Lanka, the country is in chaos... My friends are migrating one by one. I just don't wanna do it. I love this country and I should be fine. But the way it's going on that I might jump into the bandwagon. politic is everywhere. Policies changing from colour to colour. Development is halted. You turn on the television every channel show some darn useless talks, politics but country's way ahead future. And now local elections. The walls are covered with posters, TVs are covered with somber faces... I HATE IT!

Best invention of all time?

Some people simply afraid of it. Some just know how to type a letter and email while others knows too much they write all kinds of codes to alter the very thing. Computers. They really consumed me to a point I can never go back. Not that I have to. It's just that I wonder what it would be not to have computers around...?

My love affair with g adgets...

Gadgets. I don't know when I exctly fell in love with these nifty pieces. They are smarter than my last generation ever would have've imagined. Have redefined my life that I don't know what I would be doing without them.

Starting from my little overhead torch. My Sony CLIE, Digital camera, Nokia GSM phone, SingmaTel IR/USB Flash device, Wacom Graphics Tablet, LG DVD FM tuner System, even the way they use the hundred years old technology in my TVS ScootyPep.. The list is long...

This might have started back then at my childhood. We had a little transistor radio gift from my uncle, made by Mutsushita bearing the name National. It was tiny even today's standards. Whoa.. It's a obsession I can never get over with. Spending a fortune sometimes, It is a marvel that how far these nifty pieces have come...

I wonder how deep this rabbit hole goes in the next round...

YEAHOOOO!

Today I was invited by Danee to have a gMail account. 1GB online storage is awesome.. and I can arange things the way I dreamt of...This time it's really YEAHOOOO!

Change of times...

There are some milestones that takes one's life in a total different direction.

For me the Internet is a such thing. I guess the net came along to Sri Lanka back in 1996. I started surfing in somewhere 1997. All lagging DialUps. Slow. Painful. Always disconnects. Even though it was one of The Best Thing that happened to the Mankind in many ways.

I grew up with the generation, was lucky to be a Web Designer even before the year the TIME magazine name it the hottest job on earth back in year 2000.

My choice of Browsers have changed face from Netscape to Mozilla to IE to Opera. But the Internet has always been slow in this distant part of the world.

Never saw an connection status recieving bytes more that 7.5 kbps in real, untill now.

Today we gotta ADSL line. The End of the Story.

Just a beginning, nice...

This is nice. Blogs. I've been waiting for something this sort of to come along. When I had something to say sometimes it was difficult to keep track on them on daily basis. I never kept a dairy either. So ain't very sure what I am gonna do with this Dreamsmademe Blog yet. Free talking, that's waht this can be initially.

I will soon work it out.. as I did it with my website years back.
