The tsunami could not have a come at a better time for Sri Lanka. This unfortunate country was well on the road to being an international outcast when the tsunami came. On the strength of those tens of thousands of deaths, suddenly we are at the receiving end of international sympathy. Truly, it is a gift from Hades.
